"The Royal Flush" Street of Dreams 2005

for Taurus Homes

and

The Waible Family

It Starts with a sketch after a 30 minute phone interview and one email from

 Rick Waible of Taurus Homes

The Waible's love the design and authorize moving the project into working drawings with very few small changes.

A color front elevation is prepared while working drawings are underway.

Final working drawings and engineering are prepared and marketing plans are completed.

During the working drawing phase I was asked to set the interior design theme for the home. This is no small undertaking. It usually takes 30 days or more to work through various style and texture considerations for an interior design. In this case I had about 10 days. After consideration we prepared the following interior rendering of the great room of "The Royal  Flush" which as you will see in the finished home is very close to the end result. It was another case of great effortless communication with the client and the greatest of confidence and leeway given me as a designer. The  outstanding results can be seen in the finished home.

We liked what we had from this initial view but went on to look at the space from another angle shown below

This was the image we generated looking through the great room and kitchen space to the front entry.

Start to finish in 30 days. This design has had a life of its own from inception. This is one of the few times I have communicated so well with a client that I designed from a single email and an excel file that listed what The Wailble's wanted in their home. From that simple list we designed "The Royal Flush". The completed home you will see in the 2005 Street of Dreams is remarkably  close to the initial sketch you see above. This can be attributed to the decisiveness of the client and to our legendary ability to design what our clients want "on the First Draft". It has been a great pleasure working with Rick and Arika Waible and the whole Taurus homes staff.  Congratulations on a job very well done.

Don't miss "The Royal Flush" home in the 2005 Street of Dreams at "The Quarry at Stafford"
